Ava's Four Weeks Old!!!

So Ava's 4 weeks today. Where the .... has the time gone?! She went to the pediatrician yesterday (to look at a rash on her face and neck - it's just the usual infant rash, no big deal) and she's up to 8 pounds, 11 ounces. She's starting to really work her smile muscles and mouth. Last might I was talking to her and she'd stare at me. Once in a while she'd make a funny face and I'd mirror her actions. It was so much fun. And overnight she's sleeping a little longer each night.

Today Uncle Everett and Auntie Margaret are coming to visit. They drive down from Hart. That's just south of Ludington, near Silver Lake.

And we found out this morning that Kalamazoo voters passed a millage request to give schools more money. That's good news for Grandpa Cramer. So way to go Kazoo voters!

Even though she was doing this at 1 week...it's still amazing. She's staring at me here as I'm talking to her. Makes my heart just melt.
