Happy birthday tooooooo youuuuuuuuu.
((Now imagine that completely out of tune...therem now you heard me sing!)
Wow, where has the time gone? 2 months already. I can't believe it. It's been amazing so far, as you know from my musings here. This weekend was nice. Saturday we went to Uncle Douger's place and Crystal made dinner. Man, it was amazing. I have to brag her up...her mexican beat Qdoba. And if you know my tastes, they're one of my favorites. I'm telling you, if I could eat only what she and Becky made, I'd be a gluttonous fool. Plus, Doug had some high quality Cabo Wabo tequila - brought to you by the Red Rocker himself, Sammy Hagar. He let me make a Waborita. (Similar recipe) Mmmm-mm good.
And on Sunday we went to a grad party for my cousin Samantha, who graduated this year from Mendon, MI. I think there were like 30 in her class. Small school, but now it's off to the big world of college. Good luck 'Mantha! It was great to see so much family Sunday. Out-of-towners from Florida, Mt Pleasant...family from multiple sides of the tree. We had a great time seeing everyone. Of course, at 95 degrees and humid, it wasn't a great day to hold Ava so we put her in her chair and let everyone talk to her and such. But I think everyone enjoyed seeing her.
So here are some pics, she's getting bigger every day, and getting personality. Enjoy.
I think Grandma kind of likes to hold Ava. Don't you?

We're so glad Grandpa quit smoking so he can have lots of time with his grandaughter. I love watching him hold her.

Look at that face...

Well I have more, but I think I'll spread them out a little. We have more family coming in from out of town this week, so hopefully we'll have some great photo's from the visits. Have a happy Monday!

Dan,
You must have posted this after I left work for the day. I looked for it earlier.
Ava,
Happy Birthday dear Ava (I think I sound better!) Grandma misses you every day I don't get to see you.
Love,
Mom & Grandma
