Picture Day

Well today is Ava's 4 month 'birthday.' So we packed up and headed down to the photo studio for this month's pictures. They are SO darn cute. It wasn't easy, Ava's been sniffly this week, and she was tired and hungry. But Becky got it all worked out, and the photos are gorgeous.

So I have to be "that" daddy...Ava rolled over, on her own, for the first time. So now we really have to watch her on the changing table - she knows she can roll. And we got it captured on tape and film. I'll put the 'sequence' on the page. And Sunday we're going riding with my dad. Mom is out of town, so he needs something to do to keep him out of trouble.

Last night we went to our friend's house - Dave and Lisa - and had a "hell-a-good" dinner. We always eat such great stuff with them. Dave's a grilling machine. They're working on an adoption right now, it's so exciting. It's cool they're sharing some of the experience with us. We watched a National Geographic special on "The Lost Girls of China" last night with them. It was about why there are so many girls up for adoption in China, and how U.S. parents are going over there to adopt. It made Becky and I want to do it, too. But we won't be hopping a boat to Bejing any time soon.
