Coming Attractions

Hey everybody! Trust the weekend was nice, and mom's had a lovely Mother's Day. We had a very nice 'first' Mother's Day. It was a busy weekend, so I haven't yet had a chance to update my pictures. Hopefully there will be time tonight.

Becky's first Mother's Day started very early - Ava woke up at 7am needing food and a clean diaper. We got to feeding her, then went to change her and it was messier than we thought. So, we figured "hey we're up, let's give her a bath!" For those of you who know me, that's an EARLY Sunday! So then it was onto breakfast, and hanging out with my girls. I planted lilacs my folks gave us - they're originally from my mom's childhood home on Bard Avenue, were moved to her house on the lake in Comstock, then to their house in Vicksburg. Now I've been given part of that, and day lillies, too. So they live on to the next generation. Then I put together our new grill, and cooked dinner for Becky. In all, it was a good day.

I'll get to new pictures soon, I promise. Ava's getting so big - it's too hard to believe it's going by so darn quickly. Enjoy your day...
