We're Still Here
18 days, and no post. Sorry to leave everyone in the dark. It's been a busy month. I've made progress on our basement...finally. But on with the show.
Ava's doing great. Nearly 8 months old now. When we got her flu shot this month, she was up to almost 18 pounds. She's growing so quickly! Milestones... She's saying her D's now, it's a string of dadadada, but I'll take what I can get. Then this weekend, for mama's birthday, she figured out how to make an M sound. So mama is now murmured a lot. She does "so big" now too. She'll put her hands together and puts them above her head. She likes to pull herself up onto furniture and slowly make her way down. She can't really do an outside corner yet, it's like the world's flat and she can't make it around. But she'll do inside corners very well. In the last week or so she'll tilt her head and look at you like she's flirting. She started it with Uncle Nick one day when they came to see us. It's so cute, in fact that's what we're saying now when she does it. Maybe it'll be a performance piece. Anyway, she has two teeth, and at least one more coming in. It should be through any day now. All on the bottom. Gosh, so much has gone on this month it's hard to get them all down. I guess that's about it as far as the biggies. She's getting such a personality of her own now, it's amazing.
Another thing, she's becoming attached to brunette women. Like mama. She's had a few fits when she's tired or hungry and I take her, then quiets down when mama takes her back. It even works for Grams and Gramps Moyle. It's not a real big fit, but I'd rather her not, not want her dada. Oh well. Someday she'll be a daddy's girl. On with the pictrues!
Playing with the Old Guy.

Flirting with the camera. A natural!

Get that nose!!

She's always waving.

She's gonna be a ball player.

...or a plumber.

All grown up with her robe.

What a smile.

So much fun!

Who, me?!?!
