Now, I'd like to take a self-serving break from Ava's time here. It's not completely self-serving, there is a very good charitable foundation involved, too. It's called Spread the Music and it's a great effort by a local guy looking to give music to kids. Nick and I went to a charity show put on for the foundation, and I had the director, Dave Palmer to the station for a morning interview. At the show, Verve Pipe singer Brian VanderArk.

Friends of ours have a new addition. Stephanie and Chris welcomed Jaykeb Christopher into their family Friday. This 9+ pound little boy is too cute.
