Getting Ready for Christmas
Greetings all. We're practically snowed in around here. The area got anywhere from 6 to 10 inches of snow the other night. So much fun. Well, it will be once Ava's walking and playing in it. Until then, it's just something I have to go shovel. Oh well, it's not a surprise. After all, once summer's gone and fall is almost over, winter follows every year. No big surprise there!
So all is going pretty okay here right now. Work is coming along nicely in the basement. I'm handier than I thought I was, and I think I'm surprising everyone. We'll see once it's done. :) Today we got Ava started on what the season is all about...Giving. We spent part of the day at the station wrapping presents for Toys for Tots. Our 4th annual party for TfT is Monday, and I'm the jolly red guy again this year. Last year it was someone else, so this is 3 for me. It's amazing the feeling you get helping such good people. So hopefully it's something we can do every year with Ava. And Uncle Doug helped out, and Aunt Crystal came to visit. We're headed there for dinner. Another full day for us. Especially the nap the girls are working on right now. Wish I was tired enough for that :)
Enough babbling, I know why you're here. Enjoy the pics. I think I'm pretty caught up finally with this post. Lates!
I'm ready guys :)
Rosy cheeks for the outdoors.

She is quite a gift, isn't she?
Yep, it brings new meaning to the old phrase,
"The gift that keeps on giving."
